About The Closing Process
The Closing Process
The closing process actually begins a few days or even a week prior to closing.  A scheduling coordinator from Cherry Tree Title will contact you to schedule a time and place for the closing.  Closings typically take place at our office; at the registry of deeds for the county in which the property is located; or at the office of your lender.  Special requests for time and place of closing will be honored as often as possible.

At the time of closing, one of our closing attorneys or staff closers (depending on your state) will meet with you and take the time to go over all of the documents that you will be signing.  They will also go over the HUD1 Settlement Statement which itemizes all costs and fees associated with the loan and breaks down the manner in which all monies will be dispursed.  Any time you are required as a borrower to bring money to the closing, the funds must be in the form of a bank check or certified funds.
